Our customer – a streaming video provider from the USA – wanted to leverage its vast movies database and expand the client base by offering an Apple TV version of their mobile app. R-Style Lab iOS team was to deliver a fully functional tvOS solution around the existing media library.
With a growing interest in streaming technologies and ubiquitous expansion of Apple TV, the Customer decided to add a tvOS version to their media portal for fans of old and rare movies.
The final solution was based on the tvOS software development kit, dedicated to delivering Apple TV apps in full compliance with Apple’s rules.

To ensure consistent, pleasing user experience, our team paid special attention to the UI and UX part of the solution, using the UIKit framework for delivering clear-cut design of the app’s interface compliant with the Apple TV design guidelines (Architecture, UI, Navigation).
Integrated with Facebook via Facebook SDK tvOS kit, the app ensures easy sharing of information about preferred movies and chosen videos on the social network.
For the app monetization, R-Style Lab team used VAST 3.0 Ad Pods to enable the advertising monetization model.
