Secure Connected Solution for Radiation Detection

The solution was developed for U.S. law enforcement officers who happened to come across radioactive isotopes at crime scenes. Solution

We built an iOS and Android app for officers who investigate crime scenes. The solution processes sensor data, generates crime scene examination reports, supports secure authentication and ensures safe data transfer to the server. Data security is enabled through obligatory authorization and a remotely generated PIN-code.

The key features of the solution include:

  • Connection to radiation detection devices via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi;
  • Report generation. With the app, officers can specify all the available data, such as the type of a radiation monitoring device and radioactive isotopes, date and time of the report, exact location, etc.;
  • Access to text files, pictures and video data stored in the cloud (with search and filters);
  • Secure communication with the server.
